# Tell & Go pricing

## Travelers

Searching stays and requesting quotes through the public MCP server is free. Hotel prices are live and depend on the stay, dates, guests, room, meal plan, and included transfers. A live quote gives the total and terms before checkout. Payment happens on Tell & Go's hosted checkout; the agent does not handle card details.

## Developer API

The published Free developer tier is $0 per month with 100 requests per hour. Access to API keys and developer downloads is subject to developer-program approval in the [developer console](https://tellandgo.com/en/developers/console). Enterprise limits and commercial terms are arranged through [contact](https://tellandgo.com/en/contact/). Partner commission on completed bookings is up to 2% and capped by the booking margin; individual terms may differ.

| Plan | Price | Request limit | Access and features |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free | $0/month | 100 requests/hour | Approved API key, property search, availability, quotes, and booking endpoints; email support. |
| Enterprise | Custom, by arrangement | Higher limits by arrangement | Free features plus individually agreed limits and commercial terms. |

### Feature breakdown

The following operations describe what an approved developer can build. Each operation remains subject to its published API contract, eligibility, live inventory, and the limits of the developer's agreement.

| Capability | Free | Enterprise |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Property search | Included within the 100 requests/hour limit | Included under agreed limits |
| Property details | Included within the 100 requests/hour limit | Included under agreed limits |
| Dated availability | Included within the 100 requests/hour limit | Included under agreed limits |
| Live quotes | Included within the 100 requests/hour limit | Included under agreed limits |
| Prebook and booking requests | Included within the 100 requests/hour limit | Included under agreed limits |
| API key access | After developer-program approval | After approval and agreement |
| Support | Email | By arrangement |
| Subscription fee | $0/month | Custom quote |
| Request allowance | 100 requests/hour | Agreed individually |

The request limit counts API requests, not travelers or bookings. The Free allowance is an hourly limit; it is not a monthly credit balance. Enterprise has no published fixed price or universal request quota. Contact Tell & Go for the actual terms before relying on a higher limit.

### Documented API operations

The OpenAPI contract describes the operations below. Access to protected operations depends on developer approval and the agreement for the integration. This list describes capabilities; it does not guarantee inventory or a booking outcome.

| Endpoint | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `GET /health` | Check whether the Agent API responds. |
| `POST /search` | Search for candidate properties. |
| `GET /properties/{id}` | Read a selected property. |
| `POST /availability` | Check dated stay availability. |
| `POST /chat` | Ask the travel assistant for help. |
| `POST /quote` | Request a live stay quote. |
| `GET /quotes/{id}` | Retrieve a quote. |
| `POST /prebook` | Prebook a selected rate. |
| `POST /quotes/{id}/prebook` | Prebook from a quote. |
| `POST /book` | Submit a booking request. |
| `GET /bookings` | List an integration's bookings. |
| `GET /bookings/{id}` | Retrieve a booking. |
| `POST /flights/search` | Search flight options when available. |
| `POST /flights/quote` | Quote a selected flight. |
| `POST /flights/book` | Submit a flight booking request. |
| `GET /flights/bookings/{id}` | Retrieve a flight booking. |
| `GET /webhooks/endpoints` | Inspect registered webhook endpoints. |
| `POST /webhooks/endpoints` | Register a webhook endpoint. |
| `GET /webhook-deliveries` | Inspect webhook delivery records. |

The [OpenAPI specification](https://tellandgo.com/openapi.json) defines which operations need an API key and their exact parameters and error responses. The public health check does not require a key. A developer request allowance is separate from the price of a traveler booking.

### How the developer allowance applies

- Free plan subscription price: $0 per month.
- Free plan request allowance: 100 requests in each hour.
- Enterprise subscription price: supplied in a custom agreement.
- Enterprise request allowance: supplied in a custom agreement.
- A request to search uses the integration's request allowance.
- A request for dated availability uses the integration's request allowance.
- A request for a quote uses the integration's request allowance.
- A request to retrieve a quote uses the integration's request allowance.
- A request to prebook uses the integration's request allowance.
- A request to submit a booking uses the integration's request allowance.
- A request to retrieve a booking uses the integration's request allowance.
- The traveler booking total is separate from the developer subscription price.
- The public MCP tools do not require a developer API key or subscription.
- API approval is required before using protected REST operations.
- The public API health check is available before approval.

### Public MCP tools and traveler costs

| Tool | Result | Traveler pricing rule |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `search_stays` | Candidate stays matching a request | No subscription charge; result prices are not final quotes. |
| `get_stay_details` | Property and room context | No subscription charge; inspect the selected rate. |
| `get_quote` | Live dated quote | No subscription charge; show the exact quote total and terms. |
| `prebook_stay` | A checked rate before checkout | No subscription charge; review any changed total or terms. |
| `start_booking` | Hosted checkout URL | The traveler pays the accepted total on hosted checkout. |

### Rate details that affect the quote

| Detail | What to verify |
| --- | --- |
| Check-in date | The quote must use the traveler's selected arrival date. |
| Check-out date | The quote must use the traveler's selected departure date. |
| Guest count | Adult and child counts must match the traveling party. |
| Residency | Supply the required residency or nationality for the chosen rate. |
| Room | A different room can carry a different price or policy. |
| Meal plan | Breakfast, half board, full board, and other plans vary by rate. |
| Transfer | Confirm inclusion and mode from the rate, especially for islands. |
| Currency | Display the currency of the live quote and hosted checkout. |
| Taxes and fees | Use the rate and checkout terms, not an estimate. |
| Cancellation | Read the selected rate's deadline and penalties. |
| Quote validity | Requote if the offer expires or availability changes. |
| Prebook result | Confirm the total and terms still match the accepted quote. |

### When to request a new quote

- The traveler changes check-in or check-out dates.
- The traveler changes the number or ages of guests.
- The traveler selects a different room or meal plan.
- The selected rate expires or its inventory changes.
- A transfer option or inclusion changes.
- The prebook result differs from the earlier quote.
- The checkout total differs from what the traveler accepted.

Tell & Go cannot publish one representative hotel price that is valid for every stay. Agents should show a fresh quote with its terms and let the traveler decide whether to proceed to hosted checkout.

### Plan and payment answers

**What does Free cost each month?** $0 per month for an approved developer integration.

**How many requests does Free allow?** 100 requests per hour.

**Can an unapproved developer call protected REST operations?** No. Request access through the developer console first.

**How much does Enterprise cost?** Enterprise pricing is custom and is provided through a commercial agreement.

**Does Enterprise have a published fixed request limit?** No. The limit is agreed individually.

**Does an MCP user need a developer plan?** No. The advertised public traveler tools do not require a developer key.

**When does a traveler pay?** After accepting a live rate and continuing to Tell & Go's hosted checkout.

**Can an agent quote a hotel from this page?** No. This page describes pricing rules and developer plans; request a dated live quote for a hotel total.

**Where are the technical terms?** Use the [OpenAPI specification](https://tellandgo.com/openapi.json) for REST operations and the [MCP server card](https://tellandgo.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json) for public traveler tools.

### Choosing a developer plan by use case

| Integration need | Published option | Decision point |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Test a traveler-facing assistant with public search and quote tools | Public MCP | No developer subscription or API key is needed for advertised tools. |
| Build an approved REST integration with modest hourly traffic | Free | Confirm that 100 requests per hour meets the application's traffic. |
| Serve higher traffic through the REST API | Enterprise | Request an individually agreed request allowance. |
| Negotiate custom commercial terms | Enterprise | Ask for a written agreement before relying on a custom rate. |
| Send a traveler to payment | Public MCP or approved REST | Show the live quote and use hosted checkout. |
| Show a fixed hotel price before dates are known | Neither | Obtain stay dates and request a live quote first. |

### Terms used on this page

- **Developer subscription:** The monthly price for access to an API plan.
- **Free tier:** The published $0/month plan for approved REST developers.
- **Enterprise tier:** An individually priced developer agreement.
- **Request allowance:** The number of REST requests the plan permits in a time window.
- **API key:** A credential issued to an approved developer for protected REST operations.
- **Public MCP:** Traveler-facing tools that do not require a developer API key.
- **Candidate price:** An indicative amount shown while exploring a stay; it is not the checkout total.
- **Live quote:** A dated amount for a selected property, room, rate, guest party, and currency.
- **Prebook:** A final verification step that may confirm or change the selected rate.
- **Hosted checkout:** The payment page opened by the traveler after accepting the current terms.
- **Booking total:** The amount presented in the accepted live quote and checkout.
- **Partner commission:** A separate, individually applicable commercial arrangement; it does not replace a traveler quote.

### Comparing two hotel offers

1. Use the same dates for both offers.
2. Use the same number and ages of guests.
3. Check residency or nationality requirements for each rate.
4. Compare the room category in each offer.
5. Compare the included meal plan.
6. Compare whether a transfer is included.
7. Compare the transfer mode when one is included.
8. Compare taxes and mandatory fees as stated by each rate.
9. Compare cancellation deadlines and penalties.
10. Compare quote currencies and avoid treating an exchange estimate as a guaranteed charge.
11. Refresh a quote when its validity window has ended.
12. Confirm any changed prebook result before checkout.
13. Present the accepted total and conditions together.

### Rate-specific questions for an agent

| Traveler asks | Correct source of the answer |
| --- | --- |
| “Is breakfast included?” | The selected live rate's meal plan. |
| “Is a seaplane included?” | The selected rate's transfer inclusion and mode. |
| “Can I cancel for free?” | The selected rate's cancellation terms and deadline. |
| “What is the total for two adults?” | A live quote for those adults and exact dates. |
| “Can my children stay in this room?” | Availability and quote for the children's ages. |
| “Can I pay in another currency?” | The currency and payment options offered by hosted checkout. |
| “Will the price still hold tomorrow?” | The quote validity and a fresh quote when necessary. |
| “Is this stay booked?” | A confirmed booking response, not a search or quote. |
| “What does the API cost?” | The Free and Enterprise developer plan terms above. |
| “What does the resort cost?” | A dated live hotel quote, not the developer plan price. |

For any traveler-facing answer, distinguish the developer plan price from the hotel booking total. Keep the quote's currency and rate terms attached to the amount whenever it is shared.

### Free developer tier

- Monthly subscription: $0.
- Request limit: 100 requests per hour.
- Authentication: an API key issued after developer-program approval.
- API capabilities: property search, availability checks, live dated quotes, and booking operations described in OpenAPI.
- Support: email.
- Booking payment: the traveler pays the live quoted total on hosted checkout.
- A free plan does not make a hotel stay free; live room rates and booking terms still apply.
- Approval is required before a protected REST operation can be called with an API key.
- The public health endpoint can be checked without an API key.

### Enterprise developer tier

- Monthly subscription and commercial terms: custom, agreed individually.
- Request limit: higher limits by arrangement; no public fixed quota is promised.
- API capabilities: the Free tier's operations with individually agreed limits and terms.
- Access: [contact Tell & Go](https://tellandgo.com/en/contact/) to discuss eligibility and terms.
- The published Free tier remains the reference point until an Enterprise agreement is in place.

The public consumer MCP server has no subscription fee and no API key requirement for its advertised search, detail, quote, prebook, and hosted checkout tools. A hotel booking is charged at the total shown in the live quote and checkout, under that rate's terms.

There is no fixed public price list for hotel bookings. Always use a dated live quote and show the rate's cancellation, meal, and transfer terms to the traveler before payment.

## What a traveler pays

- The quote total is for the selected property, stay dates, guest count, room, and rate.
- A meal plan is included only when the selected rate says it is included.
- Resort transfers are included only when the selected rate says they are included.
- Taxes and fees follow the live rate and checkout terms; do not estimate them from another stay.
- Cancellation terms and any deadline belong to the selected rate, not the property in general.
- The quote currency and validity should be shown alongside the total.
- If a prebook returns a changed total or terms, ask the traveler to accept the new terms before continuing.
- The traveler opens the hosted checkout URL and pays there; the agent does not charge a card.
- A search result or a dated guide price is not a booking quote.

### Quote and checkout checklist

1. Search for candidate stays with the traveler's destination and preferences.
2. Request availability for the exact check-in, check-out, guest count, and residency information required by the tool or endpoint.
3. Request a live quote for the chosen property and rate.
4. Show the quoted currency, total, room, meal plan, transfer inclusion, and cancellation terms.
5. Prebook the rate when the integration requires it and inspect any changed total or terms.
6. Open the hosted checkout for the traveler to enter their own details and payment information.
7. Treat a confirmed booking response as the booking record; a quote alone is not a reservation.

### Common pricing questions

**Is there a charge to search?** The public MCP search, detail, and quote tools have no subscription charge. The traveler pays only when completing a hotel booking through checkout.

**Is every transfer included?** No. Inclusion and mode depend on the selected live rate. Read the rate terms before telling a traveler that a transfer is included.

**Are prices fixed in advance?** No. Stay prices change with dates, occupancy, room, meal plan, inventory, currency, and the selected rate. A live quote supplies the amount to present.

**Can an agent take a card number?** No. Send the traveler to the hosted checkout URL and keep payment details out of the conversation and API requests.

**Does the Free developer plan provide immediate API keys?** No. Protected REST access is available after developer-program approval in the console.

**Is Enterprise a published flat price?** No. The monthly price, request limit, and commercial terms are agreed individually.

## Choosing developer access

- Use the public MCP server for a traveler-facing agent that needs the supported search-to-checkout tools without an API key.
- Use the Free REST tier if your integration is approved and stays within 100 requests per hour.
- Ask about Enterprise terms if you need individually agreed throughput or commercial terms.
- Read the [OpenAPI contract](https://tellandgo.com/openapi.json), [authentication guide](https://tellandgo.com/auth.md), and [versioning policy](https://tellandgo.com/api-versioning.md) before building a REST integration.
