Baros arrives before you do. Twenty-five minutes after the plane’s wheels touch Malé, a teak-decked speedboat slips you onto a coral ring so compact you can walk its circumference barefoot in twelve quiet minutes—yet so discreet that only 75 villas hide beneath the sea-almond canopy. No seaplane queue, no jetties rattling with luggage carts; instead, your steward greets you by name and pads away barefoot, leaving the lagoon to speak first.
