Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor: we have not yet run these steps inside those apps.
Who pays: you do. Every agent, Claude included, sends you the checkout link and you pay on tellandgo.com. No agent can pay for you or touch your card.
Booking status: your agent can only check a booking made in the same session. Otherwise, use the secure link in your confirmation email.
Cancel: your agent can't cancel for you. It points you to the secure link in your confirmation email, which shows the terms and any refund before you confirm.
Rates: your agent can't hold a rate. You see the final total at checkout.

For developers

An MCP server that exposes search, quote, and book over Tell & Go's curated island inventory. Every rate says what it includes — room, meal plan, and whether a resort transfer is included and by which mode (speedboat, seaplane, or domestic flight + speedboat). Many Maldives rates include the transfer; many elsewhere say "Transfer not included". Quotes use the same live pricing as our website.

The tools your agent gets

Ten tools. The six below carry the booking: search → details → quote → checkout link, with dated published prices and an optional re-check. The others check a booking from the same session, explain how to cancel, and pass a traveler to our team with their consent.

search_stays

Search bookable island stays in natural language — returns matches with live nightly pricing; each rate states its meal plan and whether a transfer is included.

get_stay_details

Full detail for one property: rooms, amenities, location, policies, and indicative pricing.

get_price_facts

Read-only published price facts: the dated sample totals a resort's answer page shows (room, meal plan, transfer, taxes, cancellation, date checked). Not a quote — use get_quote for the traveler's own dates.

get_quote

A live, dated quote for a specific stay + dates + guests, with the all-in total at that moment.

prebook_stay

Optional. Re-checks the quoted rate and terms with the supplier before checkout. It does not hold the rate.

start_booking

Returns a checkout link on tellandgo.com from a quote_id and residency. The agent never handles card data; the traveler enters guest details and pays there.

Booking returns a secure checkout link. The agent never handles payment or card data. The traveler reviews the final total and pays on tellandgo.com.

Questions

Is it free to use?

Yes. There is no account, no API key, and no cost to connect. Point your agent at the endpoint and start searching.

Are the prices the same as the website?

Quotes use the same live pricing as tellandgo.com and are all-in, with the meal plan and transfer shown per rate. Rates can change between the quote and payment, so the checkout page shows the final total before the traveler pays.

How does payment work?

Your agent sends you a checkout link on tellandgo.com. You enter guest details, see the final total and pay there. Your agent never touches card data, and no booking exists until you complete checkout.

What happens if I need to cancel?

The cancellation terms are shown before you pay and repeated in your confirmation email, with a secure link to cancel. On a refundable rate cancelled before its deadline, you get 95% back, because a 5% processing fee is kept. You get the full amount back if Tell & Go or the property cancels.

What can it book today?

Resort stays in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, the Seychelles and Bali, and on Egypt’s Red Sea coast, and hotels in Paris (rooms only, no meal or transfer packages). More markets are added once their inventory is bookable. Stays are checked for live availability and price at request time; availability can change until booking.

Is it safe to connect?

Yes. Search and quote are read-only. Booking only ever produces a checkout link you choose to complete — the MCP cannot charge anyone or move money on its own.

Are there rate limits?

Yes — fair-use limits keep the service fast for everyone: 60 requests/minute per IP, a tighter budget on search/quote/booking calls, and a global ceiling across all traffic. Normal agent use stays well within these; excess traffic gets a 429 with a Retry-After header. Need higher throughput for a product integration? Get in touch.
