Dumburu
A comfortable stay awaits guests staying in this ground floor room that has a host of luxury amenities. Guests will enjoy views of the front garden while the teak flooring and furniture add depth to the room. With a mix of contemporary and antique designs, including genuine Pan Malla means rice bags in english that were traditionally used for storage and transport of paddy – that adorns your room, you will feel your cares melt away as you relax in luxury.
Kalu
Located on the Upper floor, Kalu is the most exclusive of the Stone House Suites. With kithul wood flooring and a large bathroom with a Jacuzzi, complete luxury and beauty is the prevalent theme here. Stretch out on your luxurious bed and gaze upon the sculpture done by Prageeth Manohansa which is a torso of a woman done using blades of mammoties. Other works of art in the room include the Sinhala alphabet by Sujith Ratnayake, which has been done using ballpoint pens, and a painting by Mahen Perera which has been drawn on a canvas using mud.
Ran
This room is larger than the other rooms, comes with a spacious bathroom and can easily be converted into a triple room. Situated on the upper floor, Ran will encase you in elegant splendor as you feel the stresses of daily life disappear leaving you with a feeling of wellbeing. Gaze upon the painting that showcases paddy fields from the hill country to the dry zone, done by artist Pala Pothupitiya as you relax in your room.
Sudu
A serene stay in privacy is the experience guests will enjoy in this room with its pleasing décor and teak flooring, ceilings and furniture. All furniture reflects shades of white in this ground floor room hence the name. The room is adorned with art work done by artist Thisath Thoradeniya.
Thamba
Step back in time when you stay in this Suite with its antique décor located on the upper floor. In addition to the amazing luxury amenities, guests can enjoy lithographs created in the mid 1800s, which were published in English newspapers. Relax on the four poster handcrafted bed as you enjoy views of the garden and feel the luxury of the satinwood floor beneath your feet. This room is unique with an open concept bathroom, as the bathroom is separated only by a curtain. A third bed can be accommodated in this room which showcases prints by Richard Gabriel.
